PXE80 50mm (2'') Backing Plate

The APS Pro FP50 V2 is a high quality Ø50mm Velcro backing plate, designed specifically for the Flex PXE80 cordless mini polishers. It bridges the gap between the 30mm and 75mm backing plates, allowing the unrestricted use of Ø50mm polishing pads!

With version 2 of the 50mm Velcro plate, the processing quality has been improved, the vibration has been further reduced, and the core material has been changed to stainless steel.

With the Flex PXE 80 10.8-EC cordless mini polishing machine, the German manufacturer Flex has responded in a very surprising way to the growing demand for practical mini polishers for paint care on narrow components in and on the vehicle , hard-to-reach areas and localized repairs. With the very good quality, the perfect ergonomics, the innovative tool-free quick change system for exchanging drive types, stroke sizes and support plate sizes, Flex was able to immediately convince many professionals and end customers . The Flex PXE 80 10.8-EC cordless mini polishing machine supports two Velcro plate sizes: 30mm and 75mm. These Velcro plates should completely cover both areas of the mini and nano polishing. However, Flex made this calculation without considering the car care scene. Even before the first Flex PXE80 cordless mini polishers were available and at the latest after the first intensive practical uses, it became clear that an intermediate Velcro plate size of Ø50mm was urgently needed.

With the APS Pro FP50 V2, APS traditionally follows the call of the automotive care community and now delivers the missing and long-awaited Ø50mm Velcro plate suitable for the Flex PXE 80. The Ø50mm is a unique combination of sleek black PU on a core metallic, has an elegant conical shape and of course has the same weight as Flex's original special Velcro plates for PXE80. The APS Pro FP50 V2 allows comfortable use of 50mm polishing pads without annoying vibrations or other alterations or restrictions.

The 9mm high plate body is made of flexible polyurethane and, thanks to its texture similar to that of foam rubber, offers the best possible compensation in case of wrong direction as well as the maximum possible pressure distribution during use hard polishing discs or abrasive discs. The conical shape of the support plate allows an optimal view from above and perfect control in critical edge areas.

The APS Pro FP50 V2 backing plate suitable for the Flex PXE80 is ideal for all application areas for which the small 30mm backing plate and corresponding polishing pads are too small and the Ø75mm Velcro plate is too large. The Ø48mm Velcro backing of the APS Pro FP50 V2 backing plate reliably holds all polishing pads and buffing pads in the size of Ø50-60mm. For the best polishing results, we recommend the carefully graduated Ø50mm APS Pro Mini and Ø50mm APS Pro ZoomX polishing pads made of high-quality foam "Made in Germany".
